Our Mission in Joya Honda

Guatemalan Educational Outreach (GEO) is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit based in Lexington, KY, committed to transforming lives through education in the rural village of Joya Honda, Guatemala. We exist solely to support and sustain The Little Mountain School—a beacon of hope where children receive not only a quality bilingual education, but also daily meals, encouragement, and a path out of poverty.

We are proud to be 100% dedicated to funding the school. 96 cents of every dollar donated goes directly toward its operations—teacher salaries, educational materials, meals, infrastructure, and student support.
